Softball Recap: Eustace Takes a Loss

Eustace lost against Malakoff back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eustace Bulldogs came up short against the Malakoff Tigers, falling 15-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eustace saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Page Miller, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Eustace's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Malakoff, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5-1.

Coming up, Eustace will head out to take on Grand Saline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Malakoff, they will host Quitman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Quitman has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.11 runs per game on average), something Malakoff will no doubt try to take advantage of.
