Baseball Recap: St. Mark's Takes a Loss

St. Mark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fort Worth Country Day Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since April 8, 2024.

St. Mark's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Fort Worth Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

St. Mark's is taking a road trip to challenge Trinity Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Worth Country Day, they will welcome International Leadership of Texas Keller at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
