Basketball Game Preview: McDonogh Eagles vs. Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons

The McDonogh Eagles and the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

McDonogh is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on The Carmel School with a sharp 75-55 win on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Our Lady of Good Counsel can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They managed a 64-60 victory over John Carroll.

McDonogh has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
