Soccer Game Preview: Lee vs. West Brook

The Lee Ganders will take on the West Brook Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lee's offense. They lost 7-0 to Barbers Hill on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Ganders in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Brook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let Nederland get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for West Brook, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Lee suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to West Brook in their previous matchup on February 4th. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lee was down 4-0.
