Recap: Trinity Tigers vs. Mercy School Institute Mustangs
On Friday, Trinity came up short against Mercy School Institute and fell 63-50.
Mercy School Institute had a senior duo take command as Ziyam A Khan scored 23 points and Hannan Ashraf scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Khan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayyan W Salous, who scored no points along with eight steals.
Trinity has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Mercy School Institute, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will take on Dove Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mercy School Institute will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
