Wicomico and Chincoteague are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Ponies at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Wicomico is looking for their season's first victory.

Wicomico came up short against North Caroline on Wednesday, falling 22-1.

Wicomico saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rowen Okerblom, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Chincoteague fell victim to Nandua and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The Ponies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chincoteague now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Wicomico, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.

Wicomico couldn't quite get it done against Chincoteague in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 16-12. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
