Softball Recap: Choudrant Takes a Loss

Choudrant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lakeside Warriors, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Aggies have lost by exactly ten runs.

Choudrant's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lakeside, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Choudrant will face off against Quitman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakeside, they will square off against Simsboro at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 12.8 runs per game this season.
