Volleyball Recap: Kirbyville Wins Going Away Against Beaumont United

Kirbyville lost to Beaumont United back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Timberwolves.

Kirbyville not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Beaumont United between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-18.

Kirbyville's victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 11-5. As for Beaumont United, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Kirbyville will venture away from home to face off against Evadale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Beaumont United, they will square off against Cypress Lakes at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
