Volleyball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison lost against Newport Harbor two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chargers came up short against the Sailors, falling 3-0. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Edison ultimately came up short, they really made Newport Harbor work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 26-24.

Edison now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Newport Harbor, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Edison will challenge rival Los Alamitos at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Newport Harbor is set to square off against their familiar foe Marina at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
