Meanwhile, Somerset Sky Pointe ended up a good deal behind Somerset Academy Losee on Tuesday and lost 84-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (55), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Sierra Vista will have to contain Emmitt Bell as he made an impact in Somerset Sky Pointe's last game. He went 7 of 17 en route to 24 points. With that strong performance, Bell is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. Another player making a difference was Mavier Weatherspoon, who posted 11 points.

Sierra Vista is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for Somerset Sky Pointe, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Everything came up roses for Sierra Vista against Somerset Sky Pointe in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 91-49 win.
