Volleyball Recap: Pine Forest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pine Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Overhills Jaguars, falling 3-0. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Pine Forest ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-18.

Taylor Route paced Pine Forest's offense, picking up seven kills. Route got some help from Aria Parish and her 13 assists. Danyaris Torres-Cintron controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Pine Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Overhills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Pine Forest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Richmond Senior on the 25th. As for Overhills, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Hoke County on the 25th.
