Varnum is 8-2 against Bowlegs since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Whippets will take on the Bison at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Varnum came up short against Earlsboro and fell 56-48. The contest marked the Whippets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Bowlegs made easy work of Graham/Dustin on Tuesday and carried off a 55-31 victory. The Bison haven't had any issues with the RiverHawk recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Having lost for the first time this season, Varnum fell to 6-1. As for Bowlegs, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Varnum against Bowlegs when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 54-22 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Whippets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
