Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Jefferson challenged Parkway on Saturday. The Jefferson Wildcats fell just short of the Parkway Panthers by a score of 54-52. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Jefferson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Parkway, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will face off against Spencerville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkway, they will venture away from home to challenge New Bremen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
