Soccer Game Preview: Agua Fria vs. Desert Sunrise

The Agua Fria Owls are taking a road trip to take on the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Agua Fria is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Agua Fria is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals last Wednesday, they were much more limited against Greenway on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Demons. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Demons are ranked 21st).

Agua Fria's goal came courtesy of Daniel Elzy, who's now up to ten this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Desert Sunrise was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 16-0 to Kofa.

Desert Sunrise's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Agua Fria, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
