Basketball Recap: Bassick Takes a Loss

Bassick lost against Greenwich back in January of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bassick Lions took a blow against the Greenwich Cardinals, falling 43-8. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-3.

The victory made it two in a row for Greenwich and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Bassick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-40 win against Bridgeport Central on the 18th. Greenwich will take on Hall in a holiday battle at at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
