Baseball Recap: Woburn Memorial's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Woburn Memorial blew Medford out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Medford got their revenge. The Tanners fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 7-5. The Tanners were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 16-5.

Woburn Memorial's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Medford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6-1.

Coming up, Woburn Memorial will welcome Reading Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Medford, they will face off against Winthrop at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
