Football Preview: Pius X Thunderbolts vs. Seward Bluejays
The Pius X Thunderbolts will head out to take on the Seward Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Pius X was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 31-27 to Waverly. While the Thunderbolts didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 21-14 in the first quarter.
The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Joseph Andreasen and Nathan Axmann. Axmann had a great game and gained 292 total yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Andreasen was balling out in the loss, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown, while also catching a touchdown.

Pius X now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Seward, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.
