Volleyball Recap: Moline Comes Up Short

Moline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oswego Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Maroons of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Moline's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Oswego, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Moline will face off against Galesburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oswego, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Edwardsville on the 18th.
