Basketball Recap: Wilsonville Comes Up Short

Wilsonville was the 67-43 winner over Sherwood when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 54-49 to the Bowmen on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sherwood was led to victory by Natalie Romig and Zoe Sanders. Romig posted 16 points, while Sanders scored ten points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Audrey Poulivaati, who earned four points and five assists.

Wilsonville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sherwood, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Wilsonville and Tualatin will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Sherwood will take on Nelson in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
