Volleyball Recap: Carson Extends Winning Streak to Three

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Carson had no problem doing just that on Monday. They blew past the Reed Raiders 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Senators as they're now sitting on three straight.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Carson was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-11.

Abby Franco paced Carson's offense, picking up eight kills. Franco got some help from Julie Salanoa and her 15 assists. Salanoa was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Carson's record now sits at 22-6. As for Reed, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-12.

Coming up, Carson will head out to face off against Spanish Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Reed does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
