Softball Game Preview: Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders vs. Triton Central Tigers

The Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders will challenge the Triton Central Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Indianapolis Scecina Memorial has struggled recently with six losses in a row, while Triton Central will arrive with four straight victories.

Indianapolis Scecina Memorial managed to slip by Covenant Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crusaders came up short against the Warriors on Wednesday, falling 12-0.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Triton Central lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Triton Central pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 10.4 runs this season. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
