Lancaster has gone 6-1 against Arcadia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Red Devils will look to defend their home field against the Firebirds at 1:00 p.m. The timing isn't great for Lancaster: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Arcadia has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Lancaster might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-1 to Essex, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Arcadia made easy work of Chincoteague on Thursday and carried off a 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Firebirds, who have now won six games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Arcadia has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Lancaster, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Lancaster skirted past Arcadia 1-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Firebirds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
