Volleyball Recap: Blue Hill's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Blue Hill won the last time they faced Harvard and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bobcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cardinals. The victory was familiar territory for the Bobcats, who have now won three matches in a row.

Blue Hill easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-9.

Lauren Kohmetscher paced Blue Hill's offense, picking up seven kills. Kohmetscher got some help from Avaley Toepfer and her 14 assists. Kohmetscher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Blue Hill's win bumped their record up to 6-19. As for Harvard, they dropped their record down to 3-21 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Blue Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Lawrence-Nelson on the 18th. As for Harvard, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Deshler on the 18th.
