Football Game Preview: Brandywine Bulldogs vs. Dickinson Rams

Brandywine has gone a perfect 5-0 against Dickinson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will host the Rams at 6:00 p.m. Brandywine will be strutting in after a win while Dickinson will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, Brandywine was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Elizabeth, taking the game 20-12.

Brandywine got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jahsir Greene out in front who picked up 101 receiving yards, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Greene also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (3.0 for loss). Peyton Taylor was another key rusher, rushing for 116 yards.

Brandywine didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zaahir McNair and Taylor.

Meanwhile, Dickinson was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-0 loss at the hands of St. Elizabeth.

Brandywine is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Dickinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Brandywine against Dickinson when the teams last played back in November of 2019, as the squad secured a 32-0 victory. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
