Baseball Recap: North Allegheny Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

North Allegheny won against Central Catholic on Monday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 6-3. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Liam Cooper looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Miles Pealer was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Mason Smith, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

North Allegheny pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Central Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North Allegheny beat the Vikings by a score of 5-4 on Thursday.
