Baseball Recap: Southwest Legacy Takes a Loss

Southwest Legacy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-1 to the McCollum Cowboys. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cowboys earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Ian Macias made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Southwest Legacy's record now sits at 7-15. As for McCollum, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-12 record.

Coincidentally, Southwest Legacy and McCollum will both be playing Southwest the next time they take the field. The Titans will head out to face the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cowboys will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
