Baseball Recap: Parowan Takes a Loss

Parowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against South Sevier, falling 18-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against South Sevier this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Tuesday.

Parowan saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyrel Vest, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Vest also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Parowan's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for South Sevier, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Parowan will host Millard at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Sevier, they will take on Delta at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Delta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.
