Volleyball Game Preview: Chase Trojans vs. Lincolnton Wolves

Chase is 0-3 against Lincolnton since August of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Chase came up short against East Burke and fell 3-1.

While Chase had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 13-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Lincolnton lost 3-0 to Stuart W. Cramer on Thursday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Storm recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Chase's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Lincolnton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Chase suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lincolnton in their previous matchup on Wednesday. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
