Baseball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-4 to the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans. The Red Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 19-16.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Thornapple Kellogg, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Union has already played their next contest, a 13-3 defeat against Wayland on the 20th. As for Thornapple Kellogg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
