Basketball Recap: Gervais Takes a Loss

Gervais lost against Horizon Christian back in December of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gervais Cougars took a 58-41 bruising from the Horizon Christian Hawks. The loss was the Cougars' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Gervais fell to 2-1. As for Horizon Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gervais will challenge Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gervais is facing Kennedy at the right time seeing as Kennedy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Horizon Christian, they will face off against Riverdale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Riverdale will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Horizon Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
