Basketball Game Preview: Buffalo Grove Bison vs. Glenbard North Panthers

The Buffalo Grove Bison will take on the Glenbard North Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Buffalo Grove is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Thursday. They were dealt a 68-39 loss at the hands of Prospect. The Bison were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-20.

Meanwhile, Glenbard North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Batavia, falling 48-25. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 468th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 32nd).

Glenbard North's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Buffalo Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
