Soccer Recap: Shelby County Gets the Win

Shelby County's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Cornerstone Eagles get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Remy Martinez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Shelby County's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Cornerstone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelby County will face off against Northside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Shelby County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season. As for Cornerstone, they will host Altamont at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
