Volleyball Recap: Ashby Takes a Loss

Ashby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Bertha-Hewitt Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Arrows of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2018.

Ashby's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Bertha-Hewitt, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-10.

Ashby didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Brandon/Evansville on the 16th. As for Bertha-Hewitt, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Osakis on the 16th.
