Basketball Recap: Pickering Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Pickering finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They were dealt a 74-29 defeat at the hands of the Rosepine Eagles. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-18.

Pickering has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-18-1 record this season. As for Rosepine, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-3.

Looking ahead, Pickering will face off against Johnson Bayou at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rosepine, they will take on East Beauregard at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
