Basketball Game Preview: Lyman Greyhounds vs. Evans Trojans

Having just played yesterday, the Lyman Greyhounds will head out on the road to face off against the Evans Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Lyman came up short against Lake Brantley and fell 41-30. The loss continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost six in a row.

Despite the defeat, Lyman saw an underclassman step up: freshman Samara Oldham posted 16 points.

Meanwhile, Evans hadn't done well against Windermere recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Evans put the hurt on Windermere with a sharp 44-24 win.

Lyman's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Evans, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Lyman came up short against Evans in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, falling 67-60. Can Lyman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
