Baseball Recap: Reeves Comes Up Short

If Reeves was feeling good fresh off their 13-7 takedown of South Cameron on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders lost 13-2 to the Northside Christian Warriors on Monday. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Reeves saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Guillory, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Reeves' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Northside Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Reeves will face off against V.B. Glencoe Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northside Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Raiders' game: after the Raiders face off against the Gators, they'll take on Northside Christian again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
