Basketball Recap: Timberlane Takes a Loss

Timberlane lost against Salem back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Timberlane Owls were dealt a 90-59 defeat at the hands of the Salem Blue Devils. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Owls still had to take the loss.

Timberlane's loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Salem, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Timberlane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salem, they will square off against Portsmouth on March 5th. Portsmouth knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Salem likes a good challenge.
