San Diego hasn't had much luck against Banquete recently, but that could start to change on Friday. San Diego will head out to take on Banquete at 7:00 p.m. San Diego is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

San Diego's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when London hitters got past them. San Diego came up short against London on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The Vaqueros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

San Diego saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Omar Aleman, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Banquete didn't have quite enough to beat Santa Gertrudis Academy on Tuesday and fell 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by just one run.

Banquete has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5-1 record this season. San Diego's loss dropped their record down to 11-6-1.

San Diego came out on top in a nail-biter against Banquete in their previous meeting on March 7th, sneaking past 7-6. Does San Diego have another victory up their sleeve, or will Banquete turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
