Baseball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Edgerton Crimson Tide, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Whippets in their meetings with the Crimson Tide: they've now lost five in a row.

Whitewater's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Edgerton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Whitewater didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-9 victory against Evansville on the 17th. Edgerton has also already played their next match (against McFarland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
