South Bend Riley lost to Penn last Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Kingsmen. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

South Bend Riley was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 19-25, 25-14, 27-25.

Austin Pflugner paced South Bend Riley's offense, picking up 20 kills. Pflugner got some help from Tyler Pflugner and his 29 assists. Tyler was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

South Bend Riley's victory bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Penn, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. South Bend Riley will face off against Elkhart at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, Penn and Warsaw will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
