Softball Recap: Flowing Wells Caballeros vs. Sunnyside Blue Devils        
        
		
            
 After flying high against Sahuaro  last Monday, Flowing Wells came back down to earth. The Flowing Wells Caballeros fell  7-3 to the Sunnyside Blue Devils on Wednesday. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Flowing Wells in their matchups with Sunnyside: they've now lost seven in a row.
 Flowing Wells saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Valarie Scott, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 On Sunnyside's side,  Gabriela Morales made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over seven innings pitched. Morales has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Morales was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Lauryn Carbajal, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Vianney Cruz, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Flowing Wells' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Sunnyside, the  win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
 Flowing Wells will be playing at home against Pueblo at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Sunnyside, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Canyon del Oro at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Sunnyside is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
