The Tallulah Academy Trojans will venture away from home to  take on the Briarfield Academy Rebels  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Tallulah Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Louisiana's top teams: Riverdale Academy, who was ranked 15th  at the time (Tallulah Academy was ranked tenth). The Trojans breezed past the Rebels to the tune of  58-0 on Friday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Trojans.
Tallulah Academy can attribute much of their success to   Shepard Morgan, who gained 99 total yards, and   Aiden Harris Harris, who threw for 104 yards and three  TDs.
 Tallulah Academy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 248  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
Meanwhile, Briarfield Academy was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Union Christian Academy 64-8. The  matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  48-0.
Tallulah Academy better keep an eye on  Trecin Baker. He was instrumental in Briarfield Academy's win, rushing for 81 yards and one  score, while also picking up 71 receiving yards and one  touchdown. Baker was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. Another player making a difference was  Jack Woodall, who gained 114 total yards and two touchdowns.
 Briarfield Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Baker led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by himself.  Jackson Thornton got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Briarfield Academy's record is now 7-2. As for Tallulah Academy, they now  have a winning record of 5-4.
 Tallulah Academy might still be hurting after the  38-14 loss they got from Briarfield Academy  when the teams last played  back in September of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
