Basketball Recap: Grant Triumphs

If North Hollywood wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Grant, they should've done a better job of containing RONALD MERRILL. The Grant Lancers took their matchup on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 68-31 victory over the North Hollywood Huskies thanks in part to MERRILL, who posted 20 points and five rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Camara Elijah, who had seven points and five boards. Those seven points gave him a new career-high.

Grant's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for North Hollywood, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Grant has already played their next contest, an 81-23 victory against Monroe on the 31st. As for North Hollywood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 80-30 win against Chavez on the 31st.
