Football Game Preview: Kamiak vs. Mount Vernon

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Mount Vernon. On Friday they will take on Kamiak at 7:00 PM. Kamiak will need to watch out since Mount Vernon have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

Last Friday, Mount Vernon put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They blew past Jackson 49-24. Senior Seth Tercero, who rushed for 210 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in Mount Vernon's success. Tercero has been a consistent playmaker for Mount Vernon as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 13-48, which was the final score in Kamiak's tilt against Monroe.

Everything went Mount Vernon's way against Kamiak the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 28-6 victory. Will Mount Vernon repeat their success, or does Kamiak have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
