Lynwood (Calif.) exploded for a career-high 60 points in a 94-84 victory over Gahr (Cerritos) Tuesday night.
Crowe Jr. shot 19 of 31 from the field, 4 of 6 from 3-point range and 18 of 21 from the free throw line while also chipping in three assists, two rebounds and two steals.
In his last outing, Crowe Jr. scored 46 points to go along with nine steals and six assists Jan. 27 against Firebaugh (Lynwood).
The 6-foot-3 guard is now averaging 36.4 points, 4.8 assists, 3.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds while shooting 53 percent from the field, 37 percent from 3-point range and 83 percent from the free throw line through 25 games. He has amassed 910 points in his first season of high school basketball.
Crowe Jr. has scored 20 or more points in 24 of 25 contests this season, 30 or more points in 20 of 25 games, 40 or more points seven times and had a previous career-high of 51 points in a 101-81 victory over Lawndale back on Dec. 2.
With two games left to go in the regular season for the 16-10 Knights, Crowe Jr. is among the frontrunners for MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year honors.
