Volleyball Recap: Scotts Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Scotts Valley entered their match against Soquel on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Falcons fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Scotts Valley took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 16-14.

Gemma Reyes had a dynamite game For Soquel., getting 32 digs and five aces. Those 32 digs gave Reyes a new career-high.

Scotts Valley's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. As for Soquel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
