Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hawthorne Math & Science Academy). They put the hurt on the George Washington Prep Generals with a sharp 20-6 win on Monday. The Aviators not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8, 2024.

Hawthorne Math & Science Academy moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for George Washington Prep, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hawthorne Math & Science Academy will challenge Environmental Charter on Monday. As for George Washington Prep, they will face off against Westchester at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
