Volleyball Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Falls Despite Big Games from Addison Bodiker and Piper Tetterton-Martin + How To Watch

Northwest Cabarrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the West Rowan Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 4th.

While Northwest Cabarrus was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-17.

Northwest Cabarrus' loss came despite strong showings from Piper Tetterton-Martin and Addison Bodiker. Tetterton-Martin had 16 digs and two assists, while Bodiker had ten digs. Tetterton-Martin is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Leading West Rowan to victory were Ava Baxter and Reese Poole. Baxter had 11 digs and six aces, while Poole had 12 digs. That's the most aces Baxter has posted over her last seven matchups.

Northwest Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for West Rowan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.
