Preview: Linton-Stockton Miners vs. Vincennes Lincoln Alices
The Linton-Stockton Miners will head out on the road to face off against the Vincennes Lincoln Alices at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Linton-Stockton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Last Thursday, Linton-Stockton earned a 39-26 victory over Shakamak.
Meanwhile, Vincennes Lincoln took a serious blow against Evansville Memorial on Tuesday, falling 69-39. While losing is never fun, Vincennes Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th, while Evansville Memorial is ranked 30th).
Linton-Stockton's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Vincennes Lincoln, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-7.
Linton-Stockton skirted past Vincennes Lincoln 47-45 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Linton-Stockton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
