Volleyball Recap: Westerville North Now 11-1 over Last 12 Games

There's no place like home for Westerville North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Westerville Central Warhawks on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Westerville North was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 25-20, 25-15.

Westerville North can attribute much of their success to Calum Mason, who had 14 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Mason a new career-high.

Mason wasn't the only good server: Westerville North was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Westerville North is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Westerville Central, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westerville North will square off against Big Walnut at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Westerville Central, they will be playing at home against Hilliard Darby at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
